The Montana Fishing Guide School is built on the foundation of great teaching from our world-class instructors with over 100 years combined guiding, outfitting, retail, lodge management, and instructional experience.
Organized and managed by Gallatin River Guides fly shop and career guide and outfitter, Mike Donaldson, The Montana Fishing Guide School, and the instructors we hire, are committed to professionalism and quality. All of our instructors are full time professional guides and industry professionals.
For over 35 years, Gallatin River Guides fly shop and guide service has been serving anglers throughout Montana. Our clients return to us every year, year after year. The reason for our continued growth and success is simple: we have personal relationships with the best guides and we fish amazing locations. We created the guide school to help anglers reach the next level and to help aspiring fishing guides.
